Unity Connect has now been closed down. This service is no longer available as of February 4th 2021.
Symptoms
- I would like to know how to create a Schools page for my Educational institution.
Cause
You wish to allow students to join Unity Connect as a member of your Educational institution, and allow those posting jobs to recruit from your Schools page directly.
Resolution
To create a Unity Connect Schools page, please go to the Connect website and click on your initial or profile picture in the top right corner of the site.
Here, a drop-down will appear, and the third option allows you to 'Create a School'.
Once you have clicked on the 'Create a School' button, you will need to enter the specified details.
These are:
- an identifying photo
- school name
- thumbnail image
- description
- email address
- website
- location.
When this is complete, click the 'Create' button.

We have been using Unity Connect for a few weeks and one great feature would be that if No remote is selected for a job offer, it would see whether the applicants is in the country and prevent posting if not. We get at least 5 applicants per day that are simply clicking “Apply” without even reading the post.
In 3 weeks and 3 jobs posted, we have yet to get any relevant applicants…Consider that if Unity was to make the service as a subscription after release, we’re out with no regret.
