- I'm trying to upgrade my Unity Pro subscription to Unity Industry.
Cause:
On April 3, 2023, Unity launched Unity Industry, a new suite of products and services including the Unity Editor (Unity Enterprise), Industry Success, Pixyz Plugin, and various other software and services.

Upgrading from Unity Pro Subscription Purchased Online
If you purchased a Unity Pro subscription via the online store, you can upgrade to Unity Industry directly without placing a new order. -
Upgrading from Unity Pro Subscription Purchased Offline
If your Unity Pro subscription was purchased through the sales team or a connected reseller, please reach out to your representative directly to process the upgrade. -
Unity Pro Subscription Linked to Unity Cloud
If your Unity Pro subscription is linked to Unity Cloud, the upgrade cannot be processed as described in this article. In this case, you will need to purchase Unity Industry separately under the same organization. Afterward, contact the Unity Customer Experience Team with the Unity Industry subscription invoice to request the cancellation of the existing Unity Pro subscription. The cancellation and refund of the Unity Pro subscription will be based on the Unity Industry purchase date. -
Upgrading via Unity Sales Team or Connected Resellers
For users who have received a license upgrade request through the Unity sales team or a connected reseller and were asked to make a purchase via the online store, please contact your representative directly to process the upgrade.
If you need additional clarification, please contact us first before purchasing the Unity Industry license.

To upgrade an annual Unity Pro plan to Unity Industry, follow the instructions below:

- Navigate to id.unity.com and sign in with your Unity ID account credentials.
- Select Organizations from the left sidebar and select the Unity organization associated with your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select Subscriptions & Services from the left sidebar and select Manage seats next to your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select the green Upgrade plan button. The upgrade path landing page appears.
- On the payment page, confirm your organization information and payment method. Check the box to confirm that you have read Unity's Terms of Service and Legal Information page and acknowledge the Unity Privacy Policy.
- Click Pay now to complete the upgrade process.

To upgrade an online legacy Unity Pro 'flex' plan to Unity Industry, follow the instructions below:

- Navigate to id.unity.com and sign in with your Unity ID account credentials.
- Select Organizations on the left sidebar and select the Unity organization associated with your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select Subscriptions & Services from the left sidebar and select Manage seats next to your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select the Manage Subscription tab.
- Select Immediate Renew.
- Select Unity Industry, and your preferred plan (paid monthly or prepaid).
- Click Next to continue to checkout.
- On the payment page, confirm your organization information and payment method, and tick the box to confirm you have read Unity's Terms of Service, Unity's Legal Information page, and acknowledge the Unity Privacy Policy.
- Click Pay now to complete the upgrade process.
