Symptoms:
- I want to upgrade from Unity Pro to Unity Industry. What should I do?
- I'm trying to upgrade my Unity Pro subscription to Unity Industry, but it's not working.
Cause:
On April 3, 2023, Unity launched Unity Industry, a new suite of products and services including the Unity Editor (Unity Enterprise), Industry Success, Pixyz Plugin, and various other software and services.
Only Unity Pro users in a 12-month commitment can upgrade to Unity Industry directly without placing a new purchase.
Resolution:
Important: To upgrade to Unity Industry, you must have an active Unity Pro subscription within a 12-month commitment period. If you have a legacy 'flex' Unity Pro subscription, you must purchase a new Unity Industry subscription and contact Customer Experience to cancel your existing Unity Pro subscription. You will get a response approximately in 1-2 business days. |
To upgrade from Unity Pro to Unity Industry, follow the instructions below:
Note: It is not possible to partially upgrade your subscription. You must upgrade all seats. See our terms of service for more information. |
- Navigate to id.unity.com and sign in with your Unity ID account credentials.
- Select Organizations on the left sidebar and select the Unity organization associated with your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select Subscriptions & Services on the left sidebar and select Manage seats next to your Unity Pro subscription.
- Select the green Upgrade plan button. The upgrade path landing page appears.
- On the upgrade landing page, Select Upgrade.
- On the configure plan page, choose the number of seats you need and select Continue to purchase.
- On the payment page, confirm your organization information and payment method, and tick the box to confirm you have read Unity's Terms of Service, Unity's Legal Information page, and acknowledge the Unity Privacy Policy.
- Click Pay now to complete the upgrade process.
