Symptoms:
- I've received an email titled, 'Take action now: Your Collaborate data will be deleted'. What does this mean?
- I've received an email telling me to become an active user, but I don't know what this means.
- I've been sent a reminder that my Collaborate data will be deleted. What do I need to do?
- I've migrated to DevOps. Why did I receive an email saying my data would be deleted?
Cause:
The email titled, 'Reminder: Your Collaborate data will be deleted' relates explicitly to projects initially saved in the cloud using Unity Collaborate, which were then migrated to Plastic SCM. Your Plastic SCM organization has been marked for deletion because you have remained inactive since this migration occurred.
Note: This email does not affect your Unity ID account. |

I've migrated to DevOps. Why did I receive this email?
Unity DevOps has two components:
- Unity Version Control (formerly known as Plastic SCM)
- Build Automation (formerly known as Unity Cloud Build)
The DevOps migration process is for Unity Cloud Build users only. Currently, there is no official migration process in place for Plastic SCM users.
If you got the email titled, 'Reminder: Your Collaborate data will be deleted', this means that you still have migrated Collaborate projects stored within the Plastic SCM servers. This data is separate from your new Unity DevOps Version Control organization.
If you are currently a Plastic SCM user and you prefer to use the Unity DevOps dashboard instead of the legacy Plastic SCM dashboard, you can download your repositories, upload them to your new Unity Version Control System (UVCS) organization, and cancel your legacy Plastic SCM Cloud Edition subscription. Please see the sections below for more information.
