What is a Third Party Notice (TPN) file?

Symptoms:

• I see TPN listed on Unity’s website, and I would like to know more.

Resolution:

In a Third Party Notice (TPN) file, Unity provides the list of FOSS (including version, license, and copyrights) present in the corresponding software distribution.

Two types of TPN files are available at Unity’s download archive website:

• Editor TPN includes FOSS present in the “editor” distribution.
• Build-Support TPN includes FOSS present in "build support" distribution.

TPN files are currently available for Windows releases 2021.3.22f1 or greater on the 2021.3 LTS.
