Why hasn't my question been answered on Answers/Forums?

Symptoms

• I have posted a question on the community pages and it has not been answered.

• I need my question answered in order to continue work on my project.

Cause

Our Forums and Answers pages are a great resource if you are having problems with anything to do with Unity. It could be that you have a question that you need answering as soon as possible to continue your work within Unity. It may be that you want information on new features, tutorials, and up and coming releases.

You can create a new post, or read through other users posts to help you with any problems you may be having.

Sometimes with the amount of posts on the Community, it can be hard to get your post seen by someone who can help. In some cases, this can mean it takes a while to get a response, though usually our users are quite quick to lend a hand!

Resolution

There are thousands of users visiting our Community sites daily, therefore there is a very high chance that your question will be answered. You will also be able to refer back to the post at any time and share it with others.

Sometimes, posts do not get enough hits, or our technicians may not necessarily come by it. In these instances, we ask for users firstly to look on our existing posts, to see if their question has already been answered.

If you are still having no luck with getting a reply to your question in the Forums or Answers site, feel free to contact Unity Support with the URL of your post. We do not guarantee that our technicians will be able to look at it immediately, however we can potentially get someone to further look into your problem, or point you in the right direction for an answer.
