Parsec admins and users will either authenticate using a Parsec username and password, or through a SAML identity provider if one has been integrated with their Parsec for Teams account.
If using the Parsec identity, it is recommended to always enforce two-factor authentication (2FA), which can be done through the Security & SAML settings within the Teams admin portal. This will ensure that users have 2FA set up before they are able to connect to any hosts, adding a second layer of security in the event a user's credentials are compromised.
Parsec for Teams offers integration with SSO providers via SAML 2.0, so you can use any identity provider that supports SAML 2.0. Once SSO is configured successfully, you may want to work with your Parsec for Teams administrator to disable non-SSO login and configure a team alias that is easy to remember, as shown in the image below.
