Symptoms:
- I have a free trial subscription to Unity Pro. How do I get rid of the watermark?
- I want to build my project, but there's a watermark.
- How can I upgrade my trial license to a full license?
Cause:
Unity Pro free trial licenses have a watermark on builds. The only way to remove the watermark is to wait for your Unity Pro free trial to automatically renew or to immediately renew your subscription and end your free trial early.
Resolution:
To immediately purchase a full Unity Pro subscription and end your free trial early, follow the below steps:
| Important: You will be charged immediately upon completing the below steps. Unity Pro subscriptions have a minimum contract period of 12 months. |
- Navigate to cloud.unity.com and sign in using your Unity ID credentials.

Using the left-hand menu, select Administration > Subscriptions.

Select your Unity Pro subscription.

Select Plan Management > Configure plan.
On the Plan Configuration page, there are two payment plan options:

- 1 year, paid monthly.
- 1 year, prepaid.

The Renewal options tab offers two renewal start date options: Automatic Renewal or Immediate Renewal. Select Immediate Renewal.

Note: The option to decrease seats is only available if you choose Automatic Renewal. The change takes place after your free trial ends. |
- After selecting your renewal and seat options, click Confirm and review to move to checkout.
- Review your payment information > Read the Unity Terms of Service and the applicable terms found on Unity's Legal information page, as well as the Unity Privacy Policy > Click the box to confirm and click Confirm order.
Your Unity Pro subscription is charged immediately. If you see any errors during checkout, contact your bank for assistance.
Return your activation and reactivate your license to ensure the watermark is removed from future builds.
