I see error 108 when I try to purchase an asset from the Asset Store.

Symptoms:

• I use PayPal to purchase assets from the Asset Store, but it won't let me buy.
• Error 108 appears whenever I buy assets from the Asset Store.

Cause:

Payment error 108 typically happens due to an issue with your PayPal account or payment method. This error means your payment was declined, so you should try using a different payment method from your PayPal wallet.

The error may also suggest that the purchase amount is too high, which could be causing the problem. There might be a limit on your payment method, or your card provider may have blocked the transaction.

Resolution:

Use a different payment method through your PayPal account. The details on your PayPal account or the linked credit card may be incorrect and need to be updated.

You could also contact your bank or payment provider to confirm that your payment method can handle a high-value purchase, or contact PayPal customer service for help.
