Become a Unity Verified Expert
As a Unity Verified Expert, you receive Unity Live Help notifications for requests that match your skills. Becoming verified is optional, but provides the following benefits:
- Priority access to all submitted requests before non-verified experts.
- A Unity Verified Expert badge displayed on your expert profile.
- An early sneak peek of new tools and features on the platform.
To become a Unity Verified Expert, you need to complete the following:
100% Unity Connect profile completion
Your Unity Connect profile should be completely filled out including full name, about me, profile photo, skill tags, and work history.
You can create your profile here.
3 years of Unity experience
You need to have at a minimum 3 years of Unity experience listed in the “About Me” section on your profile. Make sure to provide information on your role and responsibilities at each company.
You must have completed a valid Unity Certification test. The minimum requirement for certifications include Unity Certified Programmer and Unity Certified 3D Artist. We provide a limited number of free certification vouchers for qualified applicants. Reach out to email@example.com if you are interested.

At least two professional projects OR a Unity Answers reputation above 400 OR a StackOverflow reputation above 2000 OR be a Unity Connect contest winner
You must showcase at least two projects on your Unity Connect profile that you have contributed to.
To post a project click “Post a Project” while logged into your profile, then post an Article, Showcase, or Game.
Maintaining your status as a Unity Verified Expert
To maintain your Unity Verified Expert status, you need to maintain a session rating of at least 4.9 stars after 2 months. Unity conducts monthly audits to review the performance of Unity Verified Experts.
