Symptoms:
- Where can I check the status of my student verification with SheerID?
- What is my Student Plan status?
- How long does it take to get my Student Plan license?
- I’m having difficulty verifying my student status.
Cause:
After applying for the Unity Student plan, SheerID needs to verify that your academic credentials are valid for each year that is applied for. This process can take up to five business days.
Resolution:
If you are granted application access to your SheerID account, you should hear back from SheerID as soon as they have verified your student status.
In most cases, verification should be instantaneous. If you have been prompted to upload additional documents, you will receive an email from SheerID when your verification is complete.
If you have applied to join the Unity Student Plan but have yet to hear back, you can check the status of your student verification in your SheerID account settings.
Please note: SheerID, not Unity, manages the status of your Student Plan. If you have any further questions regarding the approval process, or if your verification takes longer than five business days, please contact SheerID directly.
