Symptoms:
- “Live” mode in Simulation/Device Views gives me a warning about not having a face tracking library available.
- When I am using my webcam in the editor, face tracking is not working.
- I made a face filter and can test it on-device, but I cannot test it in Unity.
Cause:
Face Tracking in MARS requires a provider for face tracking data and functionality, and none is shipped with MARS.
Resolution:
This is currently possible, but you must first acquire a separate third-party license.
Please contact us directly at mars@unity3d.com.
Alternatively, you can use one of the pre-recorded face videos, which do not require you to have a face tracking provider.
See Session Recordings for more information about pre-recorded videos.
