[Workflow] Can I automatically checkin and push?

Some other VCS clients allows to “commit & push” at the same time, can I do the same with Plastic SCM?

Answer:

Not in a single operation, but you can checkin and then push. First, checkin your changes and then you use the Sync view to push your changes to the Plastic SCM cloud or your server. For more information, please see this guide.

Please note, the Plastic SCM cloud can be used in a centralized and distributed way. This means that if you don’t like the pull/push workflow (very popular with git, and the only one they support) you can use the Plastic SCM cloud as your central server and skip the pull/push operation, most artists and a great number of developers are more comfortable without the extra pull/push operations.
