The GUI shows a red message with the "Cannot retrieve license information from the Plastic SCM server. Retrying in XX seconds. Try again now" text.
Depending on your workflow, you may additionally see a "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8087" error.
For some reason, your local Plastic SCM server is stopped, and the client fails to get the license information. This is why you get the red bar error and the client is not able to show your local server information.
Start the “Plastic SCM Server” service from the Windows Services panel. Search for the "Plastic Server 6" or “Plastic SCM Server” service and start it.
If it doesn't start, please log a support ticket explaining the situation and attaching the Plastic SCM Server debug file (C:\Program Files\PlasticSCM5\server\plastic.debug.log.txt).
The Plastic Server 6 is running and I still receive this error message, even after restarting etc.
