NOTE: This is only applicable for Vivox Developer Portal users. Unity Dashboard users do not go through this process.
In order for your application to be approved for live credentials, your application must fulfill the following requirements:
- Error-free client events for the past 7 days
- This excludes certain network related errors that are not under developer control, such as:
- VxErrorRtpTimeout (5020)
- VxErrorTimeout (5043)
- This excludes certain network related errors that are not under developer control, such as:
- Several days of testing with 10+ users
- Proper branding in your application
- For Vivox branding examples, see our Vivox Brand Book.
- Download Vivox logos for in-game branding in the Vivox Assets Book.
It is also highly recommended that you generate access tokens from a server and not from the client when you move to production. This can help to prevent unexpected errors and to create a better user experience for your players. For more information, see the Access Token Developer Guide in the Vivox Developer Documentation.
Note: If you are interested in removing Vivox branding from your application, please contact your sales representative, who can discuss your options with you.
When you have fulfilled these requirements, select Submit for Approval, and your application will go for review. Our application approval process typically takes one business day.
If you do not follow these requirements, your application could be rejected. You can read more about application rejections in Why was my application rejected from going into production?
After your application has gone live, you can use voice free up to 5000 PCU. You can go past 5000 PCU without any additional steps, however, you will be charged when you go above that threshold. Billing rates are specified in the Master Service Agreement (MSA) that you agree to during the submission process.
