Your Legacy Plastic SCM Cloud subscription lapses if your credit card expires, causing failed payment and organization deactivation. Reactivation within a 90-day grace period restores access via the Plastic SCM Dashboard by updating payment details. This applies only to legacy subscriptions.
Cause:
Your Legacy Plastic SCM Cloud subscription lapses when your registered credit card expires. A failed payment deactivates your subscription. The system then disables your organization.
Resolution:
Reactivation restores access to your organization and its version control features.
This resolution only applies to legacy Plastic SCM subscriptions.
If your cloud organization was originally created through plasticscm.com, the subscription owner can reactivate it from the Plastic SCM Dashboard.
To reactivate your subscription:
- Go to plasticscm.com.
- Open the Plastic SCM Dashboard.
- Navigate to Subscriptions.
- Select the lapsed subscription.
- Click Reactivate.
- Update your payment method if prompted
- Confirm the reactivation.
Reactivation enables your organization again. You regain access to your Unity Version Control System (UVCS) features for your Legacy Plastic SCM service.
Subscriptions can only be reactivated within the 90-day grace period, after which reactivation will no longer be available. Please note that this policy may change in the future.
If you still experience issues, file a support ticket. Navigate to cloud.unity.com > Version Control > Help and Support.
