Vivox does not provide an Apple Silicon SDK at this time. We have a suggested workaround to develop Vivox on an Apple Silicon computer.
From the Unity Hub navigate to the Installs tab. Select Install Editor. This will bring up a screen like the one shown below. From the list, select a version of the Unity Editor that specifies Intel architecture.
Once installed, the Unity Editor will run through Apple's Rosetta service, allowing for the Vivox Intel architecture libraries to be used.
Important
- The Rosetta translation process takes time, so users might perceive that translated applications launch or run slower at times.
- Applications can only be built for Intel deployment. Apple Silicon cannot be built as a target.
