Unity sets the billing date automatically from the first purchase date and it cannot be customized during the 12-month commitment. To change the billing date, start a new subscription with Immediate Renewal via the Unity Cloud Dashboard or id.unity.com, which resets the 12-month contract from the new date. Cause:
Unity sets the billing date automatically from the date of your first purchase. The same date is used for every recurring payment, monthly or yearly, until the end of your 12-month commitment.
Resolution:
You cannot customize the billing date of a Unity subscription.
For example, if you purchase a monthly Unity Pro subscription on March 20, 2025, every following payment falls on the 20th of the month until your 12-month commitment ends.
To move your billing to a different date, start a new subscription on that date using Immediate Renewal. Where you do this depends on where your subscription is housed.
