How do I release a purchased Pixyz license?

• My machine broke down and I had to replace it with a more powerful one. How can I continue?
• I want to move to a different machine and need to release my license.
• I have to work in telework and therefore have to change my license.

Online: Your computer is connected to the internet.

1. In your Pixyz application, go to the License Manager (Access this via the Help (?) menu or the Pixyz menu).
2. Log in with your email address and password (These are your account details used on the website).
3. The Pixyz license used on this computer is displayed. Click the Release button.
4. Confirm that you want to release the license or select Cancel. (Remember this action is possible only once. If you click on the Reinstall button, it will reinstall the freshly released license, and you will not be able to release it again.)
5. Connect to your Pixyz account on the website and within the License Management menu, you see that the license is now available for activation on another computer.

Offline: Your computer is not connected to the internet. (For example, your company may be blocking the internet connection on your computer).

1. In your Pixyz application, go to the License Manager (Access this via the Help (?) menu or the Pixyz menu).
2. In the Offline Activation tab, click the Generate release code button.
3. Save the release code as a *.bin file.
4. Copy the release code (*.bin file), go to a computer with an internet connection, and connect to your account at www.pixyz-software.com.
5. Go to the License Management menu and look for the license you wish to release.
6. Click on the Release button and proceed to upload the release code (*.bin file) you just saved on your computer.
7. Your license is now ready to be activated again on another computer.
