Vivox packages are needed for console development on PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch platforms.
Resolution
Due to NDA requirements, console packages for PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch require additional verification before downloading. Please follow this guide to obtain NDA packages.
PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5
To request access to PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 SDK packages, complete the following steps.
Sony Dev Net
- Sign in to the SIE DevNet website:
PS4: https://ps4.siedev.net/tm/verify/vivox.
PS5: https://p.siedev.net/tm/verify/vivox. - Go to Development >Tools And Middleware.
- Select Tools & Middleware directory.
- Scroll down to Engine > Unity > Confirm Developer Status.
- Select Confirm status. This sends an email to Unity that confirms your status.
Unity Cloud Dashboard
- Sign in to the Unity Cloud Dashboard website.
- Go to the Products page.
- Select the Vivox Voice and Text Chat product.
- From the Vivox Voice and Text Chat landing page, select Packages & SDKs.
- Select Request access for the NDA package.
When the access request is received, a Unity support agent will verify the email sent in the previous steps and grant access.
Note: The review process is usually completed in 1-5 business days. After-hours/weekend submissions will begin to be processed the next business day.
Xbox SDKs
To request access to Xbox SDK packages, complete the following steps.
- Sign in to the Microsoft Developer website.
- Choose your Middleware Partner > Vivox.
- Confirm you have the correct information.
- Select Submit Request. This sends an email to Unity that confirms your status.
Unity Cloud Dashboard
- Sign in to the Unity Cloud Dashboard website.
- Go to the Products page.
- Select the Vivox Voice and Text Chat product.
- From the Vivox Voice and Text Chat landing page, select Packages & SDKs.
- Select Request access for the NDA package.

- Select Getting Started.
- In the menu on the left side of the screen, expand Nintendo Switch > Middleware, and then select Voice Chat.
- In the Vivox info box, select the Learn More link.
- Enter the following information:
- Name: Your name
- Email Address: Your email address that you use to log in to the Unity Cloud Dashboard.
- Job Title: Your organization name on the Unity Cloud Dashboard
- Select Submit. This sends an email to Unity that confirms your status.
