Symptoms:
- I am trying to install Unity on a Chromebook; however, Unity is not installing.
- I want to develop in Unity using a Chromebook. Is it possible?
Cause:
Unity users can own Chromebooks and experience issues trying to download, install, or improve Unity's overall performance on these devices.
Resolution:
The Unity Editor is not technically supported on Chromebook laptops.
The reason for this is that Chromebooks are not quite the same as Windows laptops or MacBooks. As such, their operating system and general functionality are different. This difference results in some programs and software not being able to be used or may not be fully optimised.
