If you are located in China or are currently traveling in the region and experiencing difficulties accessing unity.com, you must use unity.cn.
The reason for this are listed below:
- unity.cn is hosted inside China which is fully compliant with Chinese regulations.
- unity.cn is reliable and faster than unity.com within China.
- unity.com is hosted outside of China, this can cause difficulty for some networks to access.
- There are more China-specific features available on unity.cn.
- The Unity Editor download links are all hosted under unity.cn for better download speed.
