Symptoms:
- I want to delete a post or thread I made on Unity Discussions.
- I posted on another user's Discussions thread but I want it to be removed.
Cause:
It could be that you have posted a question of your own or added to an existing thread by another user and you now want this to be removed. This could be due to an error in your post or misinformation being added to the thread.
Resolution:
Posts on Unity Discussions cannot be voluntarily deleted. This is because thousands of users visit our community platforms daily, and it would be unfortunate if a helpful question and answer were deleted.
Unity Discussions is the best platform for users to post questions, engage in discussions, and seek advice on technical issues. Keeping posts public and searchable helps the community find assistance with similar queries in the future.
A Forum thread or post is usually removed only if it breaches our Unity Community Code of Conduct or the Unity Website & Communities terms of service. Posts can be flagged using the flag button shown at the bottom of each post.
The Unity Community Team reviews the content and takes the appropriate action.
More information:
Unity Discussions is a valuable resource for users with technical questions or problems during development. It also serves as a platform to foster community engagement.
