Symptoms:
- I am unable to sign in to my Unity Discussions account.
- I see an error saying that my account has been disabled.
Cause:
Users may be banned from Unity Discussions for various reasons, usually due to violations of the Unity Community Code of Conduct or the Unity Website & Communities terms of service.
Here are some examples of actions that are against our terms and guidelines which would result in a ban:
- The use of offensive language in any form.
- Posting the same message multiple times. This can be registered as spam in our systems.
- Having an inappropriate username or profile image.
- Abuse, harassment, defamatory, threatening, or discriminating behavior.
Note: Moderators typically issue a ban only after a user has repeatedly violated the rules and received prior warnings. However, a severe offense can result in an immediate permanent ban without warning. |
Resolution:
If you think your account has been banned unfairly, contact the Customer Experience Team, who will review your case.
More Information:
The Unity Community Code of Conduct and Unity Website & Communities Additional Terms apply to all Unity community platforms, including, but not limited to, Discussions, Discord, and Asset Store reviews.
