This article is for users who previously signed up for Plastic SCM from plasticscm.com before it was rebranded to ‘Unity Version Control’, which is now part of Unity DevOps.
If you previously signed up for Plastic SCM from unity.com, this article is not for you.
If you already signed up for Unity DevOps and would like to know how to work with Unity Version Control (formerly known as Plastic SCM), navigate to Get Started with Unity Version Control for more information.
This article contains the information for you to manage your Plastic SCM account and subscriptions. It has the following sections:
- Change the email address for your Plastic SCM account
- Cancel the Plastic SCM subscription
- Reactivate the Plastic SCM subscription
Change the email address for your Plastic SCM account
To change the email address registered to your Plastic SCM account, contact Unity Customer Experience.
In that message, provide a new email address that is not currently associated with another Plastic SCM account, and we will update your details as requested.
Cancel the Plastic SCM subscription
Before you cancel your Plastic SCM subscription, be sure to save a local copy of all your repositories. All your data will be removed from our cloud thirty (30) days after the cancellation, and we won't be able to restore it once deleted.
Follow the below steps to cancel the subscription:
- Sign in at https://www.plasticscm.com/dashboard/subscriptions
- Search for the specific subscription to be canceled
- Click the red Cancel button to cancel your Plastic SCM subscription
Note:
- If you have an outstanding invoice and our system fails to charge you after four (4) attempts, your subscription will be automatically canceled. If this happens, follow the steps in the next section to reactivate your subscription. Otherwise, your data will be removed from our cloud thirty (30) days after the cancellation.
- If you signed up for Plastic SCM from unity.com or if you are a Unity DevOps user, refer to this article to cancel your subscription.
Reactivate the Plastic SCM subscription
You can reactivate your Plastic SCM subscription within thirty (30) days after the cancellation date.
To reactivate your subscription, follow the steps below:
- Sign in at https://www.plasticscm.com/dashboard/subscriptions
- Click the Reactivate button to reactivate your Plastic SCM subscription
Note: If you do not have any payment method for your Plastic SCM subscription, you will be asked to add one when you reactivate the subscription.
