Symptoms:
- Error message: "Failed to resolve project template: failed to decompress error" when attempting to open or create a project in Unity.
Cause:
- Corrupted or incomplete download of the project template file.
- Insufficient disk space or low memory on your system.
- Problem with the Unity Editor installation.
- Corrupted or outdated version of .NET framework.
- Long project path exceeding the operating system's character limit.
- Project path containing special or non-Latin characters.
Resolution:
- Clear the cache of the Unity Editor

- Check if the project path exceeds the character limit or contains special/non-Latin characters, and if so, create the project in a different path.
