Summary
This page lists where data is stored at rest for key Unity Gaming Services (UGS). For the services below, storage regions are not customer-configurable (you cannot select “EU-only,” “US-only,” etc.). Ingestion and compute locations may differ by service and workload; this page focuses only on data at rest.
Data residency matrix
| Service | Data at rest (region/provider) |
|---|---|
| Analytics (including Data Access) | GCP europe-west4; data may be replicated to GCP us-central1 when Analytics Data Access is enabled |
| Cloud Content Delivery (CCD) | GCP us‑central1 (origin storage) |
| Economy | AWS us‑east‑2 |
| Remote Config | GCP us‑central1 |
| Unity IAP | GCP us‑central1 |
| Developer Data Framework | GCP us‑central1 |
Additional notes
Region selection: The services listed above do not support customer-selectable storage regions.
Analytics Data Access: Analytics Data Access exposes the same Analytics warehouse via Snowflake Secure Data Sharing. Enabling Data Access may require data replication to support the share.
CCD caching: Cloud Content Delivery serves content through a global CDN. Cached copies may reside near end users; however, origin storage remains in GCP us-central1.
