Cause:
You are a student and want to apply for the Unity Student plan or find out if you qualify for it.
Resolution:
You can sign up for the Unity Student Plan at the sign-up page.
- When prompted, create, or log into your Unity ID.
- Complete the SheerID verification form, providing details of your academic affiliation and additional documentation, if necessary.
- After you’re verified by SheerID, sign in to your Unity ID to access the Student Plan.
- Your license key is sent to you by email. If you cannot locate it, follow the steps in the article 'How do I find my license serial number?'.
- Activate your license following the steps in the article, 'How do I activate my license?'.
Note: SheerID, not Unity, manages student plan verifications. If you have already followed the above steps and your student status has still not been verified, troubleshoot any SheerID verification-related issues via the SheerID Customer Contact form.
