Unity License Server download fails with error "SignatureDoesNotMatch"

• Downloading the Unity License Server from the Unity ID portal fails.
• When clicking Download, you may see an error page similar to:

<Error>
<Code>SignatureDoesNotMatch</Code>
<Message>Access denied.</Message>
</Error>

The download URL for the Unity License Server is a temporary, signed URL generated by our backend.

The SignatureDoesNotMatch error indicates that the signature in the URL does not match what the storage service expects. This typically means that:

• The signed download URL has expired.
• The URL was modified, truncated, or cached incorrectly by the browser or an intermediate proxy.
• There is a temporary issue with how the download link is generated on the server side.

1. Regenerate the download link
   • Refresh the Unity ID page.
   • If the page has been open for a long time, sign out from Unity ID and then sign back in.
   • Navigate again to the Unity License Server download page and click Download.
2. Use Incognito/Private Mode
   1. Open a new private or incognito browser window. 
   2. Log in to Unity ID and attempt the download again.
3. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
   • Clear cookies and site data for Unity-related domains (e.g. id.unity.com) and storage.googleapis.com.
   • Close the browser completely, reopen it, and try the download again.
4. Try a Different Browser
   • Use a different web browser or a fresh browser profile.
   • If possible, try from a different network (for example, disconnect from VPN or corporate proxy, or use a mobile hotspot) to rule out interference from proxies or security appliances.

• Your Unity organization ID.
• The Unity License Server version you are trying to download.
• The approximate time (including timezone) when the issue occurred.
• A screenshot or full copy of the error message.
