Symptoms:
- Why am I getting a "subscription in use" error when trying to use the SpeedTree Modeller?
- What does it mean if the SpeedTree Modeller says that my subscription is "in use on other machine"?
Resolution:
This error occurs when attempting to activate a SpeedTree subscription on more than one computer at the same time, as SpeedTree subscriptions allow for a single login per subscription.
You will need to log out of your other device before logging in and activating your SpeedTree subscription on a new device.
Note: The license server has a 10-minute refresh timer to prevent abuse of this feature. If a user tries to log in on another machine within 10 minutes of logging out, they will encounter this error.
