Unity DevOps includes Unity Version Control and Build Automation. Organization owners can start either free through the Unity Dashboard, then upgrade anytime to consumption-based billing by entering organization, address, and card details.
Getting started with Unity DevOps
Unity DevOps has two components: Unity Version Control and Unity Build Automation. You can start using either one for free, with no credit card required, and upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
To get started, you must sign in with your Unity ID and be an organization owner. If you don’t have a Unity ID, you can create one here.
Start for free
- Sign in to the Unity Dashboard with your Unity ID.
- Go to Development > Products.
-
Select Version Control or Build Automation, whichever you need, and follow the on-screen steps.
For details on what’s included, see the free plan limits.
Upgrade to a paid plan (consumption-based billing)
You can upgrade at any time, even right after you start.
- In the Unity Dashboard, go to the Overview or Allowance usage page.
- Select Upgrade plan.
- Enter your organization details and address, then click Continue to checkout.
- Enter your card details, then select Confirm preauthorization.
Placing this order sets up automatic monthly payments for any usage beyond the free plan limits.
Once you’ve upgraded, your subscription appears as Unity DevOps on the My Products page under Products section, rather than as Version Control or Build Automation separately.
For pricing details, see the official pricing page. It includes consumption examples that show what DevOps costs for projects of different sizes.
