Symptoms:
- I am unable to commit code due to exceeding free available storage.
- I cannot delete my repositories.
- I am unable to free up my storage at DevOps.
Cause:
The free tier of Unity DevOps provides a set amount of storage (typically 5GB). When this limit is exceeded, the system triggers warnings and imposes limitations.
Resolution:
There are three potential solutions to address this issue:
- Upgrade your Unity DevOps tier. Switch to the Unity DevOps pay-as-you-go service. This option provides additional storage capacity based on your needs.
- Sign up for Unity DevOps using a different organization. This will provide you with a fresh 5GB of free storage.
- Wait for Monthly Storage Reset. Unity DevOps resets the usage and frees up 5GB of storage at the beginning of each month. Once reset, you should be able to delete unnecessary data and manage your storage more effectively.
