Unity automatically creates a default organization named after your account username, but you may want to change it. Only organization Owners can rename it by signing into cloud.unity.com, switching to the correct organization, navigating to Administration Settings, clicking Edit next to the organization name, entering a new unique name, and saving the changes. Organization names must be unique.
Causes:
When you create a new Unity ID, Unity automatically creates a default organization on your account. This default organization has the same name as your account username. You might want to call this organization something different.
Each Unity organization must have a unique name.
Resolution:
Only Owners of the organization can rename the organization. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to cloud.unity.com and sign in using your Unity ID account credentials.
- If you're not already in the correct organization, switch your organization by selecting your current organization name > Switch organization > select your new organization.
-
Using the left-side menu, select Administration > Settings.
- Click Edit (pencil icon) to the right of your organization name.
- Enter your new organization name, then click Save to apply the changes.
| Note: Organization names must be unique. |
