Does the number of licenses in the organization have to be the same as the number of members?

 

It is possible to invite more members to an organization than the number of assigned seats. This flexibility allows for inviting members as owners, managers, or users within the organization.

 

If you wish to invite more members to your organization, please follow the steps below.

For customers using the Unity ID portal:

1. Sign in to id.unity.com.
2. Select Organizations to the left of the screen.
3. Select the organization you want to add a user to.
4. Select Members & Groups on the left side menu.
5. Click the blue + Add Members button.
6. Enter the new user's email address into the text box (you can add multiple addresses here if you need to) and choose their role in the organization using the drop-down menu.
7. Click Next.
8. Check that all email addresses and assigned roles are correct, then click Invite members. The new member of the organization receives an email notification with the invitation.

For customers using the Unity Cloud Dashboard (for those who subscribed to Unity Pro after April 22, 2024):

1. Go to https://dashboard.unity3d.com/ and sign in.
2. Click on Administration on the left side of the screen.
3. Click on the Organization members tab on the right section.
4. In the upper right corner, click the blue Invite organization members button.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
