Symptoms:
- I have purchased an asset on my account and I need other members of my Organization to access this.
- I would like to share an asset I have purchased with the rest of my team.
- I cannot see my asset under the My Assets section in the Asset Store.
Cause:
On May 12th 2020, Unity introduced a feature which allows Organization Owners to assign asset purchases to any member of their Organization. This is similar in nature to subscription license seats.
Resolution:
Assigning assets via the Unity ID page is supported for both seat-based purchased assets (Extension Assets) and service-based purchased assets (single entity & multi entity).
Seat-based assets (Extension Assets) have a limited seat number, depending on how many seats you purchase. Site-based assets (single & multi entity) have unlimited seats upon purchase.
To assign an asset to a user:
- Sign in to your Unity ID at id.unity.com.
- Click Organizations to the left of the screen.
- Click on the Organization used to purchase. (If not changed using the Org switcher, select your default Organization)
- Click Asset Management to the left of the screen.
- Hover over the asset you would like to manage.
- Click the Manage seats button.
- Click the box to the right of the user(s) you want to give access to.
- Click the blue Assign Seat(s) button.
The asset will now appear under the My Assets section in the Unity Asset Store.
Please note: Free assets cannot be assigned. Each user needing access to a free asset can acquire these assets as normal via the Asset Store. These are then tied to the user's default Organization automatically.
More Information:
Note: Assigning asset seats is only available for assets purchased after May 12, 2020.

I just tried this out today. Re-assigned 3 assets but they're not showing up for the other user. Is there a minimum time to wait before these should appear on the other user's account?

I wanted to buy the dynamicBone for 70% off in the promotion, but I failed and bought it for $22 off the list price!
Can I get a refund or a deduction?

The way the asset seats are implemented is dumb.
First of all, extension assets being a one-license asset is plain predatory. You should be able to buy one and redistribute it amongst a team, since you just bought a couple scripts and a plugin. Jack up the price a tad if you want.
Second of all, why would the team/person behind this disaster of an interface make it so that you can only assign ONE asset at a time?
I bought a Humble Bundle of 28 items. I had to assign them ONE BY ONE to myself, because even though I AM THE OWNER OF THE ORGANIZATION they won't show up on the "My Assets" menu.
Imagine I wasn't an IT Employee, and Gamedev Student that develops on his free time on top of that. Imagine I actually owned a small organization that develops Unity games.
Now, imagine I hired someone new to develop these hypothetical games. In order to give this person access to the whole array of assets I amassed over time, I would need to butt my head against this abomination of a menu making it so it takes hours to assign them all to this person. And extension assets would make sure one of us has more work than the other.
Please, improve make both your users and supporters a favor, and add a checkbox next to each asset and a "Assign Seats" button next to the search bar. That way, you can massively assign seats by selecting all your assets.
The implementation is poor, I bought the bundle : unity fantasy ; and after assigning it to my one person oprganization I hoped to find a button to assign multiple assets at the same time but this is not an option. Please add it !
