I would like to have more than two activations on my license. What can I do?

 

 

You might want to activate a Unity license on a new machine, but you have already used your allowed activations.

 

Each Unity license key allows for up to two activations at a time. If you try to activate your license on more than two machines, the system will not allow it and you will see an error message displayed.

 

 

Each license key can be activated on two machines simultaneously. However, if one activated machine isn't being used, you can return the activation for use on a different machine by following the steps in the article ‘How do I return the activations on my Pro/ Plus license’.

 

If you require three or more activations at a single time, a new subscription needs to be purchased on a separate or new Organization. You can then assign another license (seat) to yourself or the affected user. 

 

Please note: License keys are generated per Unity ID. Providing a new subscription is purchased on a separate Organization to your existing subscription, the same license key will be valid for up to four activations.
