How do I create upgrades for my assets?

Will reviews and ratings carry over when doing a major upgrade, and deprecating package B?

"major version upgrades are only possible after a package has been available on the Asset Store for at least one year." -> Is this still valid? This doesn't make much sense. I created an asset 7 months ago and now I have version 2.0 ready, with a lot of new features. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to submit a major version upgrade.

And, what should I do then? Just upload it as if it's a minor change and rise the price? Thank you.

    Hi Damian,

Thank you for your kind patience on this.

In regards to your question, asset store team also confirmed that "major version upgrades are only possible after a package has been available on the Asset Store for at least one year." is outdated.

it should be changed to "Please note that major version upgrades are only possible after a package has been available on the Asset Store for at least 6 month."

We apologies for any confusion caused by this, and we will edit this article pretty soon.

We really your precious feedback on this again, and let us know if you need any other questions.

If I understand it correctly, people that have the old version since before the start of the grace period do have to pay the upgrade price, right?
