Accelerated Vetting allows qualified publishers to expedite updates and submissions on the Asset Store, making them live within hours. There are three tiers: Metadata Updates ($100 sales in 6 months), Full Updates ($250 sales in 12 months), and All Submissions ($750 sales in 12 months). Each tier offers different levels of update capabilities. Eligibility is automatically reevaluated monthly. Publishers can view and enable this feature through their Asset Store portal.
Symptoms:
- I have heard about Accelerated Vetting and would like to know more
- How can I enable Accelerated Vetting for my publisher profile?
Resolution:
Accelerated Vetting is a feature our publishers can earn through active participation in the Asset Store. It enables our publishers to make updates to their existing packages and submit new packages faster than the standard publishing process.
Publishing assets using this feature means that submissions will usually be live on the store within a few hours, as well as offering some other publishing benefits.
This publishing feature is only enabled for publishers who have met certain requirements. There are three tiers available to our publishers, each with their own qualification requirements.
Each tier requires an average revenue threshold to be met, along with a minimum amount of time since your first asset was published. Tier eligibility is automatically reevaluated at the beginning of each calendar month.
The publishing tiers available are as follows:
Metadata Updates
Requirement: $100 in gross sales over the past 6 months.
Metadata updates enables publishers to quickly update the “metadata” associated with existing packages, such as the description, price, marketing images/videos and so on.
Full Updates
Requirement: $250 in gross sales over the past 12 months.
Full updates adds the ability to update the data associated with an existing package quickly. This tier also includes metadata updates.
All Submissions
Requirement: $750 in gross sales over the past 12 months
All submissions include new packages. This tier also includes metadata updates and full updates.
How long does it take for a submission to be approved once Accelerated Vetting is enabled?
Usually submissions will go live on the store within 1–2 hours. Please note that some aspects of the Asset Store may utilize a cache which is updated less frequently.
