Symptoms:
- I want to purchase several subscriptions for my organization.
- I would like to know if it is possible to mix different subscription tiers.
- Can I use a different Unity license than the others on my team?
Cause:
Unity offers different levels or 'tiers' for our subscriptions, which means that users on different tiers have different levels of access to services and different prices.
Resolution:
As stated in the Unity Terms of Service, different license tiers cannot be mixed together.
In short, this means that everyone working on the same Unity project or working with Unity in the same company/ organization must have the same subscription tier in order to be compliant with the Unity Terms of Service.
For example, if there are five people working on a project together, three have a Unity Pro license and two have an existing Unity Plus license, this would not be compliant with our terms of service. In this case, all five people using Unity must have a Unity Pro license.
Please make sure to read the Unity Terms of Service for more information.
