- I have reached a screen in the Unity Hub that asks for my serial number.
- I don’t know what my serial number is.

The resolution differs depending on the screen you’re directed to upon purchase. If you clicked Complete onboarding on the final screen when purchasing or your subscription has been migrated to the Unity Dashboard, please click here to jump to your resolution. |
If your subscription is housed under id.unity.com, please follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your Unity ID at id.unity.com.
- Click My Seats, in the left side menu.

- Your Unity account which you used to purchase the subscription.
- The invoice number of your purchase.
I clicked Complete Onboarding during purchase/ My subscription has been migrated to the Unity Dashboard
If your subscription is housed under the Unity Dashboard, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to dashboard.unity3d.com and sign in using your Unity ID credentials.

Using the left-hand menu, click Projects.

Using the left-hand menu, click Subscriptions.

If you have a User role within the organization, your license key appears to the right of the organization subscription.

If you are an Owner or Manager of the Unity organization, click on the Unity subscription you want to manage.

Click Overview. Your license key is displayed under the My License section of the screen. Use the copy icon to the right of your serial number to copy the key to your clipboard.

If you are an Owner or Manager of the Unity organization, click on the Unity subscription you want to manage.
If you cannot find your serial number/ subscription, first, ensure that you are viewing the correct organization by using the org switcher in the top right corner of the dashboard. If your serial number still does not appear, please ask the Owner or Manager of your Unity organization to assign you a license seat, then follow the above instructions.

Yes, if you are a perpetual license holder or an old subscription user, then you can find your serial keys, if attached to your Unity account, at 'https://store.unity3d.com/account/licenses'.
If you purchased your license after 28th June 2016, then please follow the above steps!

Are you having issues finding your serial key? If so, I would recommend contacting our Customer Services team on support@unity3d.com. They will be able to track this down for you, if the above instructions are not helping!
Hi! I received my license key but when I’m trying log in to Unity with this key it cause an error «serial expired on Thu Mar 08 16:00:20 GMT 2018...” I bought it just today

The email invitation from Unity currently does not include serial number information. It's useless, please fix.

The e-mail that gets sent when assigning yourself a set does not contain the serial number. It is also not present on the Unity ID/My Seats page. How am I supposed to find the serial number?
