How do I increase the number of seats on my subscription?

This article explains how Unity organization owners can add seats (licenses) to existing online subscriptions so new team members can use the Editor. It covers two locations: cloud.unity.com and id.unity.com, with step-by-step instructions for each. Key points include pro-rata charges, seats matching the current subscription term, and that invoice details cannot be changed after purchase. Offline subscriptions require contacting your sales client partner. Note: you cannot reduce seats during the 12-month commitment; see the related reduction article.
Cause:
You may have had more members join your project or team and need to add more seats so that they can use the Editor.
Only the owner of the Unity organization where the subscription was purchased can add seats to the subscription.
Resolution:
The resolution differs depending on where your Unity subscription is housed. If your subscription is housed under the Unity ID portal (id.unity.com), click here to jump to your resolution.
To add seats to an existing online subscription housed at cloud.unity.com, follow the steps below:
Note: The following steps are for online subscriptions only. If you purchased your subscription offline through the Unity sales team, contact your client partner directly to buy additional licenses.
Navigate to cloud.unity.com and sign in using your Unity ID credentials.
Using the left-side menu, select Administration > Subscriptions.
Select More actions (...) to the right of your Unity subscription > Add seats. (Note: If you cannot see your Pro subscription here, it may be housed in the Unity ID portal. Click here to jump to your resolution.)
Using the plus (+) button, increase your seats by the desired number. Read the Unity Terms of Service & Unity Privacy Policy > check the box to confirm you have read the terms > click Confirm purchase to continue.
Providing the purchase is successful, you see a confirmation message appear with information about the next payment date and the amount due. Select Close to exit.
Important:
The added seats will have the same subscription period as your existing active subscription plan, and charges will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Additionally, it is not possible to alter invoice details once a purchase is complete.
To add seats to an existing online subscription housed at id.unity.com, follow the steps below:
Note: The following steps are for online subscriptions only. If you purchased your subscription offline through the Unity sales team, contact your client partner directly to purchase additional licenses.
Navigate to id.unity.com and sign into your account.
Select Add Seats from the left side menu.
Hover over the organization you want to add license seats to > click Add to continue.
Using the blue '+' button, select how many seats you need to add to your subscription.
Select the green Next button to continue to review your order.
Review your commitment period and new price to the right of the screen, ensure all details are correct, and complete your purchase.
Important: It is not possible to alter invoice details once a purchase is complete.
