What happens when my Unity Plus subscription expires?

  • My Unity Plus subscription is expiring soon.
  • I’m unsure about what will happen if I don’t upgrade to Unity Pro.

Information: 

Unity is transitioning away from Unity Plus. If you don't upgrade to Unity Pro by March 27, 2024, your account will automatically switch to Unity Personal, and you will lose access to the features that Unity Plus offers.

Unity Personal Plan users: Unity Personal Plan users are unable to remove the Unity Splash Screen or Unity Logo from projects built in Editor versions prior to Unity 6. 

Download Unity 6- License: Added the option on Unity Personal to disable or customize the Made with Unity splash screen(Unity Plus* License Main Features).

  • What happens if I do not upgrade to Pro by March 27, 2024?
    By March 27, 2024, if you haven’t renewed your subscription for Unity Plus or upgraded your subscription, your account will automatically be converted to our Unity Personal plan at the end of your current term, and you will lose access to Unity Plus features including basic crash and error reporting, and cloud diagnostics. You will no longer be able to renew your Plus license and no longer be eligible for the discount of Pro for the price of Plus. For the remainder of your Unity Plus subscription, you can still upgrade to Unity Pro at regular price at any time by following the instructions above.
