- I have finished my 12-month subscription and am now in 'flexible' status.
- I want to renew my current subscription for another 12 months.
- I want to change how my subscription renews.
- I purchased my license through the sales department. How do I renew it?
As with all Unity subscriptions, these automatically renew once the initial commitment period is over.
Unity Pro subscriptions purchased before June 1, 2020, automatically renew into a 'flexible' paid monthly subscription, which can be canceled at any time.
Unity Pro subscriptions purchased after June 1, 2020, automatically renew for another 12-month commitment period unless automatic renewal is switched off.
Note: The online renewal process is only available to users who have purchased their subscriptions through the website. If you have previously purchased your subscription through the sales department, contact your Unity client partner directly. |
Resolution:
If you are the billable owner of a Unity organization, you can use your account settings dashboard to change how your current Unity subscription renews.
You can choose to pre-pay for your subscription or pay in monthly installments for the year.
To change how your online subscription will automatically renew, follow the below steps:
- Navigate to cloud.unity.com and sign in using your Unity ID credentials.

Using the left-hand menu, select Administration > Subscriptions.

Select the Unity subscription you want to manage. For example, Unity Pro. (Note: If you cannot find your subscription listed on this page, it may be managed through the ID portal. Click here to jump to your resolution.)

Select Plan Management > Configure plan.
On the Plan Configuration page, there are two payment plan options:
- 1 year, paid monthly.
- 1 year, prepaid.
- After selecting your renewal and seat options, click Confirm and review to move to checkout.
- Review how your subscription is set to renew > Read the Unity Terms of Service and/or the applicable terms found on Unity's Legal information page, and the Unity Privacy Policy > Click the box to confirm and click Save configuration.
Your plan changes are completed after your subscription is scheduled to renew.
Important: Immediate renewal is not currently available. |
If your subscription is housed at id.unity.com, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to id.unity.com and sign in to your account associated with your subscription.
- Select Organizations to the left of the screen.

Select the organization which contains the subscription you want to renew.

Under the Subscriptions heading, click Manage (cog icon). Note: If you’re unable to find your subscription listed on this page, it may be managed through the Cloud Dashboard. Click here to jump to your resolution.
- Click the Manage Subscription tab.
On the Manage Subscription page, there are three renewal options:
- Monthly (only available for subscriptions purchased before June 1, 2020).
- 1 year, paid monthly.
- 1 year, prepaid.
Note: Decreasing your seat count will only take effect at the end of your current billing period. |
After selecting your renewal and seat options, click Save/ Next at the bottom of the page to move to the payment page.
Important: Immediate renewal is not currently available. |
