Symptoms:
- I receive the error message "project exists, organization cannot be removed" when trying to delete my Unity organization..
- I need to completely remove an old organization that I no longer use.
Cause:
An organization cannot be deleted from Unity Cloud while it still contains active projects. For safety and to prevent accidental data loss, Unity requires all projects within an organization to be dealt with before the organization itself can be removed.
Resolution:
To successfully delete an organization, you must first archive or delete all the projects associated with it.Once the organization is empty, you can proceed with the deletion process.
Owners and Managers of a Unity Organization can perform these actions. If you do not have these roles, you will not be able to archive projects or delete the organization.
To delete an organization and all its projects in Unity Cloud, please follow these steps:

Archive or delete all active projects within the organization.

Once all projects have been successfully archived or deleted, you can delete the organization.

By archiving/deleting all projects first, the system will then permit you to delete the organization successfully.
