If Unity hasn't been used for a while, try troubleshooting by logging out/in of Unity Hub, clearing cache and cookies, and restarting your device before reinstalling. To reinstall, completely uninstall all Unity components, then download and install the latest Unity Hub and Editor. The new onboarding experience (from August 14, 2025) features an updated interface, automatic editor download, and simplified project setup. If issues persist, contact Unity support with your Unity Hub log files for assistance.
Try Basic Troubleshooting First
If Unity has not been used for a while or if your previous activation date was more than one month ago, please try the following steps before reinstalling:
Log out of Unity Hub, then log back in.
Clear cache and cookies.
Restart your device.

- Upon first login, the Hub will automatically download the latest available Unity Editor version.
