Symptoms:
- I want to remove a project from my Unity Cloud dashboard.
- I want to delete a project I'm no longer using.
- I need to clean my account and delete old projects.
- I'm having issues deleting my project.
Cause:
Some users want to remove their projects completely from their Unity account.
Resolution:
You cannot directly delete a project from Unity Cloud. Instead, you can archive it.
Archiving ensures that your projects are not visible on your Unity Cloud dashboard. You can unarchive them anytime if needed. Archived projects do not generate any charges.
For a detailed guide on how to archive your project, please visit the following article: How do I archive a Unity project?
You can also delete the project from your local machine. However, it will still appear as archived in the Unity Cloud.
Projects can also be hosted in the Unity Version Control system (DevOps); if you need to delete your project entirely from this service, you must delete the repository where the project is hosted. It’s crucial to back up your projects locally because this process is irreversible.
