Symptoms
As a developer or team member, you may need to leave a Unity project when your work is complete or if you're no longer involved. This process can be done through the Unity Services Dashboard.
Note: Removing yourself from a project means you'll no longer have access to that project's resources or settings. Ensure you've backed up any personal work or files before leaving the project. |
Resolution
1: Sign in to the Unity Services Dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Projects section by clicking on the "Projects" menu item in the main menu on the left-hand side. A list of all your active projects will be displayed.
3. Find the project you wish to leave from the list.
4. Click on the project name to open the project details.
5. On the project details page, scroll down past the project details view.
6. Locate and click on the "Project members" tab. You will see a list of all members assigned to the project.
7. Find your name and email in the list of project members.
8. Next to your name, click on the three-dot menu. Depending on your permissions, you will either:
- Select the "Remove from project" option to leave the project
- See the error "You cannot remove yourself from the entity" If permissions are denied, request a project admin to remove you from the project.
9. Providing you can continue, a confirmation dialogue will appear to ensure you want to remove yourself from the project.
10. Click Confirm to complete the process.
If you are still unable to remove yourself from a project, click go the old Project Members page under the Project members tab, and retry the steps above:
If this does not work for you, send screenshots of any errors received to the Customer Experience team.
More Information
