Symptoms:
- I am an Asset Store Publisher.
- I would like more information on pricing my asset.
- The submission page is not permitting me to enter a price.
Cause:
In January 2019, there were some changes made to the minimum pricing guidelines for asset submissions on the Asset Store.
Resolution
The minimum price for all assets which are not free is $4.99. We will no longer accept assets priced between $0.01 and $4.98, including updates to current assets.
Any asset that is priced less than $4.99, but is not free, will be automatically adjusted on behalf of Publishers.

Is there a reason as to why?? does it mean that Unity might take any larger % of cut from it or?
Seems fair it costs money just to send it electronically. Just make a good asset if it's not free.
An obvious reason for this: publishers (on any digital store, really) racing each other to the bottom for low prices. Another: low price as an excuse for low quality.
