Symptoms:
- How do I archive a project from my Unity Cloud?
- I want to stop working on a project, but I may come back to work on it in the future. What can I do?
- Is there something I can do with a project that is 'on pause' for an extended period of time?
- Where can I put my project to keep it safe until I'm ready to resume work on it?
Resolution:
To archive your Unity project from Unity Cloud, please follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your account at cloud.unity.com
- Ensure that you are using the correct organization that your project is housed in by clicking your username at the top-right corner of the screen > Switch Organization > organization name.
- Click Projects to the left of the screen and then click on the Active tab.
- Click on the project you want to archive.
- On the specific project page, under the project name, click on the Settings tab.
- Click the Archive project button at the top right of the page.
- A warning message appears. If you want to continue archiving the project, click Archive.
After the project is archived successfully, a confirmation message appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Please note: from July 2025 onwards, Owners and Managers of a Unity Organization can delete projects on Unity Cloud. For further reference on this, please see 'Can I delete a project from Unity Cloud?'.
