Symptoms:
- I see the error, 'Sorry, this link is no longer valid. Conversation Ip Violation, conversation Ip:<ipaddress>, User Ip:<ipaddress>. How do I fix this?
- I can't sign into my account.
Cause:
The error, 'Sorry, this link is no longer valid. Conversation Ip Violation...' is usually caused by more than one IP address hitting id.unity.com & api.unity.com at once.
This can be due to the use of a VPN/ Proxy, or the type of WiFi you are connected to.
Resolution:
Initially, please try disabling your VPN/ Proxy if enabled.
If the issue persists, try the following:

On your machine, go to the Start menu > type cmd and open the Command Prompt application.

Type
ipconfig /releaseand press the Enter key. -
Once the prompt returns, type
ipconfig /renew, then press the Enter key. -
Finally, type exit then press the Enter key to close the window.
Should the above fail to resolve the error, we recommend contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further assistance.
